Little Canada City-wide Garage Sale

Come out and meet your neighbors, find bargains, and rummage through miscellaneous treasures at the 12th annual City-wide Garage Sale!

When

  • Thursday - Saturday, May 14-16, 2020 
  • From 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Register your sale

Residents wishing to participate should submit a completed City-wide Garage Sale Registration Form.  (the registration form will be available in April 2020).  There is no cost to participate. Sales must be registered by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 7 in order to be included on the map.  (Note: Businesses are required to complete a temporary outdoor sales permit application with the City.)

Signs

Garage sale signs are still available to purchase at Little Canada City Center for $5.  A limited quantity is available. No need to return them. We are also encouraging residents to be creative and make your own sign(s). Show your community pride by helping to promote Little Canada’s City-wide Garage Sale. Please be courteous and remove any garage sale sign you may have on display at the end of your sale. 

Map and List of Sales

A final map and list of all registered garage sales will be posted on our website by 4:30 p.m. on May 12, at local businesses, and at the Little Canada City Center.

2019 Garage Sale Map

Note: Garage sale participants residing on a city street with No-Parking will be permitted on-street parking during the City-wide Garage Sale. The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office will be notified that during these three days from 8 am to 5 pm parking is allowed in those areas. Residents are still subject to No-Parking regulations outside of the garage sale hours.

What to do with items that don’t sell? Here are some local reuse options:

  • Twin Cities Free Market: An online exchange program for Twin Cities area residents.
  • Bridging: Located in Roseville, this charitable organization accepts household items and redistributes them to those in need. 
  • Goodwill: With several locations throughout the Twin Cities, this organization accepts gently used clothing, toys, household items, and more. 
  • ReUSE MN: This organization, dedicated to educating people on the benefits of reuse, has created a website that allows you to quickly search for specific used items to reuse.
